I love that I can use the destination guides from Afar to plan my trips. Super helpful, intuitive, and inspiring.

AFAR gives you the ability to travel the world with recommendations of great things to, amazing places to stay, top local restaurants and shops, and a community that travels a ton. Alleviates the need to buy a guidebook. Save your favorite places and make your own custom lists. Loving the ability to filter by "eat, drink, stay, do, shop!" Download for sure.

This app is the best travel guide on the market. It offers breadth and depth in cities and countries all around the world. The content is rich and the design is intuitive.

I love this app for a variety of purposes. I can just scan and dream. It doesnt take long for me to find things I want to do all over the world. It quickly can turn into travel planning, where i find all kinds of things to do on my trip. I save my favorites, and have them handy on my mobile when Im traveling, even if I dont have a data connection. Finally, even if i havent planned in advance, I can discover things to do near me no matter where I am. All from the vantage point of AFAR, my favorite! I really love the filter function, so I can get to the most recommended, nearest or by type of place.

The afar app is a super useful tool for active travelers who desire deeper more fulfilling travel travel experiences. No trip should be planned without it!

Really easy to use and the offline trip plans are very handy when you dont want to use your data while traveling.

First glimpse and I thought this would be a wonderful app. Unfortunately, it crashed every single time I wanted to add something to a wish list or create a new trip plan. It didnt even save my trip plan until the 4th time. Then I realized I couldnt edit the title of my trip plan. UX is extremely poor. Bummed about this one.

The suggestions being offered here are totally inaccurate. We spent hours one day trying to find a park that didnt even exist. Would not recommend.

Based on where I have traveled this is a great way to select what you need to see especially for a short trip

Great app for the travel community.

This is a great way to find out some attractions around the area you will be. The app is pleasing to the eyes. What is keeping this app from becoming 5 star is that it current limits what the user can do. Its not the most user friendly but the developers are hard at work to improve it. Overall a great app for travelers!

I just downloaded the Afar app and am all ready so pleased! We are traveling to the Keys soon and the app has Everything to view that we want to do with wonderful pictures and details! Makes going so much easier in my mind! Thanks! S

Im not sure how I started receiving Afars emails - they just started showing up one day. But they are so well-written and I truly enjoy reading them a couple times a week. This app is a great extension of that, offering extensive travel guides, ideas, restaurants, bars and activities for almost anywhere youd want to go. Please add a city page in the app for Dublin though! :)

I have serious wanderlust as well as a penchant for trip planning. This app satisfies both of these for me! I was amazed at how much information is accessible through this app. We are planning a multi-city trip through Seattle/British Columbia/Alberta and have found so much great information on Afar. My only critique is that they need to add the ability to delete trip plans that you have created for yourself. Otherwise, I highly recommend this app for all you wanderers out there :)

When you make a search, if you do not use exact capitalization and spacing, (in other words describe exactly what you are looking for), you get a message from the app stating they have not explored that area of the world. Try typing in madrid spain all small letters no comma. And its worse when you get in the city trying to find a location to eat or shop. Its a good idea but not at all user-friendly.

Better than most other travel apps, better reviews. Easy to use, kept simple.

I love this app because it makes it very easy to add your own highlights. The problem I run into literally every time I try to add a highlight is the app crashes immediately after I push "publish". I havent had any issues on the website but this is difficult to make more highlights.
